Web projects
A look at recent web development work focused on design, performance, and SEO—highlighting the process of turning real-world needs into effective, modern websites.
roc-aventure.com - Coming soon
roc-aventure.com is an ongoing project I’m currently leading, following a successful bid in a competitive call for tender. The website is being developed for Roc Aventure, a renowned via ferrata and adventure tourism company based in L'Argentière-la-Bessée, in the heart of the French Alps.
With a long-standing reputation for excellence and years of experience creating and guiding via ferrata adventures, Roc Aventure has introduced thousands of people to the thrill of vertical exploration. As a recognized leader in their field, their reputation in the mountains speaks for itself-but their current website no longer reflects the quality, energy, and professionalism that define the brand. My mission is to elevate their online presence to match the high standards they consistently deliver on the ground.
This new website aims to achieve three core objectives:
- A complete visual overhaul with a modern, responsive design that captures the thrill of the Roc Aventure experience while remaining clean, accessible, and intuitive.
- High-performance SEO, built from scratch to maximize online visibility in a competitive outdoor tourism market. This includes optimized metadata, performance-focused builds, structured content, and a strong local SEO strategy.
- A focus on conversion, with clear and strategic calls-to-action, a streamlined booking process, and content designed to guide visitors toward engagement-whether that’s booking a tour, reaching out, or simply discovering more about the activities offered.
While development is still in progress, the foundation is being built with a modern tech stack and performance in mind at every layer-from code to content. I’m also working in close collaboration with the client to ensure that the new site reflects both the adventurous spirit of the brand and its long-standing expertise in the field.
marseilleinfirmier.fr - 01/2025
marseilleinfirmier.fr is a custom-built website created for a home-care nurse based in Marseille. The main goal was to offer patients a clear, accessible way to learn about available medical services, book appointments, and get in touch-especially on mobile, where most visits would come from.
The site was built entirely from scratch using React, with Next.js for server-side rendering and image optimization. This setup allowed for fast initial page loads, strong SEO performance, and smooth navigation-all essential features for a healthcare professional seeking visibility and reliability online.
To minimize infrastructure costs while maintaining functionality, I implemented a lightweight backend using Telegram as the interface. The client receives appointment requests and "call me back" notifications directly through a secure Telegram chat. To avoid hitting Telegram's rate limits, I built a timed queue system that temporarily stores requests in an SQLite database and processes them in intervals, automatically cleaning up after each successful delivery.
Performance and accessibility were critical to this project-not just for user experience, but because the site serves a medical professional. I focused heavily on optimizing for Lighthouse metrics, especially page speed, semantic HTML, and ARIA compliance. The result is a fast, responsive, and accessible site that meets both the needs of the client and their patients.
Notably, marseilleinfirmier.fr achieves higher visibility in search engine results than some of the region's most established web agencies. This success underscores the effectiveness of a focused, performance-driven SEO strategy tailored to the client's specific needs.
